GIGLIO. (JONES,W) 55 ILCS 5/5-32036 from Ch. 34, par. 5-32036 65 ILCS 5/9-2-103 from Ch. 24, par. 9-2-103 Amends the Counties Code and the Illinois Municipal Code. Provides that proposals or bids for the construction of improvements shall be accompanied by cash, a certified check, or a bid bond (now by cash or a certified check). Provides that the bid bond shall be for an amount not less than 2% of the aggregate of the proposal. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Further amends the Counties Code and the Illinois Municipal Code.
