MEYER-DART. (DILLARD) 725 ILCS 120/4.5 730 ILCS 5/5-8A-6 new Amends the Rights of Crime Victims and Witnesses Act and the Unified Code of Corrections. Provides that upon written request of a crime victim, the supervising authority must notify the crime victim of periods of time in which a participant in an electronic home detention program is not being monitored. Provides that a supervising authority or its employees are immune from civil or criminal liability if they fail to comply with the notification provisions. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1.
