LOPEZ-ACEVEDO. 410 ILCS 50/3 from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 5403 Amends the Medical Patient Rights Act. Provides that an insurance company or heath service corporation cannot deny payment for inpatient admissions on the grounds that it was not contacted before the patient was admitted, unless there was no attempt to contact the company or corporation.
