CURRY,JULIE-MCKEON, HANNIG AND NOVAK. 725 ILCS 120/4.5 Amends the Rights of Crime Victims and Witnesses Act. Provides that the notification to the victim of the release, furlough, parole, or mandatory supervised release of the defendant required by the Act is automatic when the defendant has been convicted of certain sex offenses or domestic battery and the victim was under 18 years of age at the time of the offense.
