FLOWERS. 235 ILCS 5/6-16 from Ch. 43, par. 131 Amends the Liquor Control Act of 1934. Provides that a licensee, common carrier, or contract carrier of alcoholic liquor may refuse to sell, deliver, or serve alcoholic liquor to any person who cannot provide adequate written evidence that he or she is at least 27 years of age. Provides that no person shall sell, give, or deliver alcoholic liquor to any person under 27 years of age without first demanding proof of identification through adequate written evidence of age and identity. Effective immediately. FISCAL NOTE (Liquor Control Commission) HB2003 will have little fiscal impact on the Comm.
