Provides that if a sex offender who is required to register under the Sex Offender Registration Act commits a felony and if the sex offender is convicted of a violation of Section 10 of that Act, the sentence imposed for conviction of the felony and the sentence for the violation of Section 10 of the Sex Offender Registration Act shall be served consecutively. FISCAL NOTE (Department of Corrections) There would be an increase of 2 inmates at a cost of $356,800 over the first 10 years.
