JOHNSON,TOM. 750 ILCS 45/7 from Ch. 40, par. 2507 Amends the Illinois Parentage Act of 1984. Provides that if a man who is not presumed to be the natural father of a child brings an action to determine the existence of the father and child relationship, the court, before ordering DNA or other tests, shall hold a hearing to determine whether it is in the best interests of the child to allow the action to proceed.
