DART-GASH AND LYONS,JOSEPH. 510 ILCS 70/4.02 from Ch. 8, par. 704.02 510 ILCS 70/10 from Ch. 8, par. 710 Amends the Humane Care for Animals Act. Provides that provisions concerning the seizure of animals used in entertainment applies to all animals (now, those provisions apply only to dogs). Provides that owners of a seized animal must be given notice of the seizure. Provides for the disposition of the seized animal. Allows certain persons to take an animal into temporary protective custody if there is reason to believe the animal has been abused, there is imminent danger to the animal's health, and there is not time to obtain a court order of impoundment. Provides persons acting in good faith with respect to abused animals with civil and criminal immunity.
