(BOMKE) Creates the Farm Crisis Task Force to address the viability of the Chicago Board of Trade to act as a sincere means of marketing Illinois' agricultural commodities, to look into consolidations and monopolies of companies selling inputs into the agricultural economy, and to look into consolidations and monopolies in the marketing of agricultural outputs. A report shall be submitted to the General Assembly on or before the first day scheduled for the House of Representatives to convene for the fall veto session in 2000. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 1. Includes a representative from the Farmers Union, appointed by the Governor, as a non-voting member of the Task Force. HOUSE AMENDMENT NO. 2.
