PHILIP-HAWKINSON. 5 ILCS 70/9 new Amends the Statute on Statutes. Provides that in any proceeding, whether civil, criminal, quasi-criminal, administrative, or otherwise, an assertion by a party that a Public Act violates the single subject rule must be alleged in a pleading or motion filed within 6 months after the Public Act's effective date or within other specified time periods, whichever is later. Provides that, in any event, the pleading or motion must be filed within 3 years after the Public Act's effective date. Applies to Public Acts that take effect on or after the effective date of this amendatory Act.
