JACOBS-RAUSCHENBERGER-SMITH. New Act 30 ILCS 805/8.24 new Creates the Hypodermic Syringe and Needle Disposal Act and amends the State Mandates Act. Provides that every public restroom (that is, a restroom located in a building owned or occupied by the State, a unit of local government, or a school district) must have a container for the disposal of used hypodermic syringes and needles that is approved by the Environmental Protection Agency.
