INTERGOVT COOP AGMNT-FLOODWATR                                             

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends  the  Intergovernmental  Cooperation  Act   to   allow   a      
   municipality   to  enter  into  intergovernmental  agreements  with  a      
   township for floodwater management in the unincorporated  areas  of  a      
   county.                                                                     
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
        Deletes everything. Amends the Intergovernmental Cooperation Act.      
   Provides that in counties with a population of 3,000,000 or more, a         
   municipality may enter into intergovernmental agreements with a town-       
   ship for floodwater management in the unincorporated areas of the           
   county.
