ST POLICE-FIRE MRSHL-TRANSFER                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Civil Administrative Code of Illinois  and  the  State      
   Fire  Marshal  Act.  Transfers the powers and duties, including arson,      
   fire,  and  explosion  investigations,  of  the  Department   of   Law      
   Enforcement  of the Office of the State Fire Marshal to the Department      
   of State Police.
