TWP CD-OPEN SPACE-POP-150,000                                              

Synopsis of Bill as introduced:
        Amends the Township Code.  Includes counties having a  population      
   of  more than 150,000 (now 250,000) within the Article concerning open      
   space programs.  Effective immediately.                                     
        SENATE AMENDMENT NO. 1.                                                
          Adds reference to:                                                   
          60 ILCS 1/115-20                                                     
          60 ILCS 1/115-30                                                     
          60 ILCS 1/115-35                                                     
          60 ILCS 1/115-40                                                     
          60 ILCS 1/115-55                                                     
        Further amends the Township Code.  Provides that a township in  a      
   county  having  a  population  of  more than 150,000 but not more than      
   250,000 may not acquire property by condemnation  under  the  Township      
   Open Space Article.
