1 AN ACT concerning townships.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Township Code is amended by changing
5 Section 77-5 as follows:
6 (60 ILCS 1/77-5)
7 Sec. 77-5. Election; Powers and Duties powers and
8 duties. The township assessor shall be elected and have
9 powers and duties as provided in the Property Tax Code. The
10 township assessor also shall be a member of the board of
11 health for a public health district as provided in the Public
12 Health District Act.
