1 AN ACT concerning pigeons.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Carrier, Racing, Hobby, and Show Pigeon
5 Act of 1993 is amended by changing Section 7 as follows:
6 (510 ILCS 45/7) (from Ch. 8, par. 907)
7 Sec. 7. Ordinances. A municipality located in a county
8 with fewer than 3,000,000 inhabitants or a county shall not
9 enact an ordinance which prohibits the orderly keeping of
10 carrier pigeons, hobby, or show pigeons, except that any
11 municipality located within a county having 3,000,000 or more
12 inhabitants may enact an ordinance to prohibit or regulate
13 the orderly keeping of carrier, racing, hobby, or show
14 pigeons.
