1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 1069
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 1069, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of Senate amendment
4 No. 1 on page 14, line 1, before "at" by inserting "(i)"; and
5 on page 14, line 5, " by changing "or" to "may be issued an
6 inter-track wagering license; (ii) or"; and
7 on page 14, line 10, after "license" by inserting "; or (iii)
8 at a track located in Madison County that conducted at least
9 100 days of live racing during the immediately preceding
10 calendar year may be issued an inter-track wagering license,
11 unless a lesser schedule of live racing is the result of (A)
12 weather, unsafe track conditions, or other acts of God; (B)
13 an agreement between the organization licensee and the
14 associations representing the largest number of owners,
15 trainers, jockeys, or standardbred drivers who race horses at
16 that organization licensee's racing meeting; or (C) a finding
17 by the Board of extraordinary circumstances and that it was
18 in the best interest of the public and the sport to conduct
19 fewer than 100 days of live racing"; and
20 on page 14, by deleting lines 28 through 34; and
21 on page 15, by deleting lines 1 through 10.
