92_HB1095eng HB1095 Engrossed LRB9205348DJgc 1 AN ACT in relation to child support. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by 5 adding Section 10-8.2 as follows: 6 (305 ILCS 5/10-8.2 new) 7 Sec. 10-8.2. Service of process. In an action to enforce 8 support under Section 10-8.1 or 10-10, the Illinois 9 Department may appoint an individual to accompany the process 10 server for the purpose of locating or identifying the 11 respondent. An individual appointed under this Section may 12 include, but need not be limited to, a member of the family 13 of the respondent responsible relative from whom support is 14 sought. 15 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 16 becoming law.
