1 AN ACT relating to education.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Public Community College Act is amended
5 by changing Section 3.25.2 as follows:
6 (110 ILCS 805/3.25.2) (from Ch. 122, par. 103-25.2)
7 Sec. 3.25.2. (a) To provide, on an equal basis, access
8 to the campus to the official recruiting representatives of
9 the armed forces of the State of Illinois and the United
10 States for the purpose of informing students of the
11 educational and career opportunities available in the
12 military if the board has provided such access to persons or
13 groups whose purpose is to acquaint students with educational
14 or occupational opportunities available to them. The board
15 is not required to give greater notice regarding the right of
16 access to recruiting representatives than is given to other
17 persons and groups.
18 (b) To not bar or exclude from its curriculum, campus,
19 or school facilities any armed forces training program or
20 organization operated under the authority of the United
21 States government because the program or organization
22 complies with rules, regulations, or policies of the United
23 States government or any agency, branch, or department
24 thereof.
