92_HB1396 LRB9203570JStm 1 AN ACT in relation to insurance. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Illinois Insurance Code is amended by 5 changing Section 357.29 as follows: 6 (215 ILCS 5/357.29) (from Ch. 73, par. 969.29) 7 Sec. 357.29. Requirements of other jurisdictions. Any 8 policy of a foreign or alien company, when delivered or 9 issued for delivery to any person in this State, may contain 10 any provision thatwhichis not less favorable to the insured 11 or the beneficiary than the provisions of this Article and 12 which is prescribed or required by the law of the state under 13 which the company is organized. 14 Any policy of a domestic company may, when issued for 15 delivery in any other state or country, contain any provision 16 permitted or required by the laws of such other state or 17 country. 18 (Source: Laws 1967, p. 1735.)
