1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 ARTICLE 1
5 Section 1. The following named sums, or so much thereof
6 as may be necessary, are appropriated from the Environmental
7 Protection Trust Fund to the Environmental Protection Trust
8 Fund Commission for grants to the Illinois Environmental
9 Protection Agency as follows:
10 To Support Enhanced Environmental Protection
11 and Enforcement Activities ....................$ 700,000
12 For Support of the Illinois Environmental
13 Regulatory Review Commission ...................$ 170,000
14 Section 2. The following named sums, or so much thereof
15 as may be necessary, are appropriated from the Environmental
16 Protection Trust Fund to the Environmental Protection Trust
17 Fund Commission for grants to the Department of Natural
18 Resources as follows:
19 For projects relating to
20 natural resources research,
21 protection, and educational
22 activities ....................................$ 700,000
23 Section 3. The following named sums, or so much thereof
24 as may be necessary, are appropriated from the Environmental
25 Protection Trust Fund to the Environmental Protection Trust
26 Fund Commission for grants to the Pollution Control Board as
27 follows:
28 For Funding Expenses of Case

1 Processing and Other Activities .................$ 700,000
2 For Support of the Illinois Environmental
3 Regulatory Review Commission ....................$ 25,000
4 Section 4. The following named sum, or so much thereof
5 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the Environmental
6 Protection Trust Fund to the Environmental Protection Trust
7 Fund Commission for grants to the Office of the Attorney
8 General as follows:
9 For Enhanced Environmental Enforcement
10 Activities ......................................$ 700,000
11 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
12 July 1, 2001.
