1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 2643
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 2643 by replacing
3 the title with the following:
4 "AN ACT concerning contracts."; and
5 by replacing everything after the enacting clause with the
6 following:
7 "Section 5. The Architectural, Engineering, and Land
8 Surveying Qualifications Based Selection Act is amended by
9 changing Section 45 as follows:
10 (30 ILCS 535/45) (from Ch. 127, par. 4151-45)
11 Sec. 45. Small contracts. The provisions of Sections
12 25, 30, and 35 do not apply to architectural, engineering,
13 and land surveying contracts with an estimated basic
14 professional services fee of less than $25,000.

16 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
17 becoming law.".
