1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 3422
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 3422, by deleting
3 everything after the enacting clause and inserting in lieu
4 thereof the following:
5 "Section 5. The following named amounts, or so much of
6 those amounts as may be necessary, respectively, are
7 appropriated for the objects and purposes hereinafter named
8 to meet the ordinary and contingent expenses of the
9 Legislative Information System:
10 For Personal Services........................... $ 1,579,100
11 For Employee Retirement Contributions
12 Paid by Employer.............................. 63,200
13 For State Contribution to State Employees'
14 Retirement System............................. 157,100
15 For State Contribution to Social
16 Security...................................... 120,800
17 For Contractual Services........................ 547,600
18 For Travel...................................... 19,300
19 For Commodities................................. 5,200
20 For Printing.................................... 25,500
21 For Equipment................................... 7,200
22 For Electronic Data Processing.................. 863,500
23 For Purchase, Maintenance, and Rental
24 of Legislative Electronic Data Processing
25 Equipment, Contractual Procurement

2 For Telecommunications Services................. 151,000

5 Section 10. The following amount, or so much of that
6 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated to the
7 Legislative Information System:
8 For Purchase, Maintenance, and
9 Rental of Electronic Data Processing
10 Equipment and Software relating to the
11 development and implementation of legislative
12 systems, and for consulting, technical,
13 and design services related thereto........... $2,000,000
14 Section 15. The following amount, or so much of that
15 amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General
16 Assembly Computer Equipment Revolving Fund to the Legislative
17 Information System:
18 For Purchase, Maintenance, and Rental of
19 General Assembly Electronic Data Processing
20 Equipment and for other operational
21 purposes of the General Assembly.................$1,600,000
22 Section 20. In addition to any amounts previously or
23 elsewhere appropriated, the amount of $105,000, or so much of
24 that amount as may be necessary, is appropriated from the
25 General Revenue Fund to the Legislative Information System
26 for repayment to the Statistical Services Revolving Fund for
27 costs associated with the Illinois General Assembly
28 Automation Project.
29 Section 999. Effective date. This Act takes effect July
30 1, 2001.".
