The amount of $100,000, or so much thereof as 24 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Registered 25 Certified Public Accountants' Administration and Disciplinary 26 FundPublic Accountant's Regulation and Disciplinary Fundto 27 the Department of Professional Regulation to contract with 28 the Illinois CPA Society for a feasibility study on 29 implementation of a mandatory peer review requirement for 30 licensure of public accounting time. 31 Section 4. The sum of $1,810,000$310,000, or so much 23 thereof as may be necessary, and remains unexpended at the 24 close of business on June 30, 2001, from the appropriation 25 heretofore made in Article 28, Section 3 of Public Act 26 91-706, is reappropriated from the Federal Civil Preparedness 27 Administrative Fund for terrorism preparedness and training. 28 Section 8. "AN ACT making appropriations", Public Act 29 92-8, approved June 11, 2001, is amended by changing Section 30 10 of Article 3 as follows: 31 (P.A. 92-8, Art. 3, Sec. 10) HB3426 Enrolled -8- LRB9207403RHrh 1 Sec. 10. The amount of $51,042,000$44,042,000, or so 2 much thereof as may be necessary, is appropriated from the 3 General Revenue Fund to the Teachers' Retirement System of 4 the State of Illinois for transfer into the Teachers' Health 5 Insurance Security Fund as the State's Contribution for 6 teachers' health benefits. 7 Section 9. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 8 92-8, approved June 11, 2001, is amended by adding new 9 Section 21 to Article 32 as follows: 10 (P.A. 92-8, Art. 32, new Sec. 21) 11 Sec. 21. The sum of $340,000, or so much thereof as may 12 be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund 13 to the Department of Agriculture for a biosecurity 14 laboratory, carcass disposal, tanks, and other costs 15 associated with homeland security. 16 Section 10. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 17 92-8, approved June 11, 2001, is amended by adding new 18 Section 301 to Article 35 as follows: 19 (P.A. 92-8, Art. 35, new Sec. 301) 20 Sec. 301. The sum of $5,000,000, or so much thereof as 21 may be necessary, is appropriated to the Department of 22 Commerce and Community Affairs from the Tourism Promotion 23 Fund for grants pursuant to Section 605-710 of the Department 24 of Commerce and Community Affairs Law of the Civil 25 Administrative Code of Illinois. 26 Section 11. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 27 92-8, approved June 11, 2001, is amended by adding new 28 Sections 14, 15, 16 and 17 to Article 48 as follows: HB3426 Enrolled -9- LRB9207403RHrh 1 (P.A. 92-8, Art. 48, new Sec. 14) 2 Sec. 14. The amount of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as 3 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 4 Fund to the Department of Public Health for development of a 5 consolidated laboratory information system. 6 (P.A. 92-8, Art. 48, new Sec. 15) 7 Sec. 15. The amount of $2,850,000, or so much thereof as 8 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 9 Fund to the Department of Public Health for expanded 10 laboratory capacity and enhanced statewide communication 11 capabilities associated with homeland security. 12 (P.A. 92-8, Art. 48, new Sec. 16) 13 Sec. 16. The sum of $2,500,000, or so much thereof as 14 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 15 Fund to the Department of Public Health for costs associated 16 with creating a Pharmaceutical Cache related to homeland 17 security purposes. 18 (P.A. 92-8, Art. 48, new Sec. 17) 19 Sec. 17. The amount of $120,000, or so much thereof as 20 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 21 Fund to the Department of Public Health for the Illinois 22 Mobile Emergency Response Team for costs associated with 23 homeland security. 24 Section 12. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 25 92-8, approved June 11, 2001, is amended by adding new 26 Sections 8 and 9 to Article 75 as follows: 27 (P.A. 92-8, Art. 75, new Sec. 8) 28 Sec. 8. The amount of $370,000, or so much thereof as 29 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue HB3426 Enrolled -10- LRB9207403RHrh 1 Fund to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency for 2 additional equipment for the State Interagency Response Team 3 for costs associated with homeland security. 4 (P.A. 92-8, Art. 75, new Sec. 9) 5 Sec. 9. The amount of $7,000,000, or so much thereof as 6 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 7 Fund to the Illinois Emergency Management Agency for 8 providing services and for costs associated with Homeland 9 Security and for grants to the Department of State Police, 10 the Department of Military Affairs, the Office of the State 11 Fire Marshal and other state agencies for such purposes. 12 Section 13. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 13 92-8, approved June 11, 2001, is amended by adding new 14 Sections 13 and 14 to Article 89 as follows: 15 (P.A. 92-8, Art. 89, new Sec. 13) 16 Sec. 13. The amount of $700,000, or so much thereof as 17 may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 18 Fund to the Office of the State Fire Marshal for radios, 19 computers, generators, and other costs associated with 20 homeland security. 21 (P.A. 92-8, Art. 89, new Sec. 14) 22 Sec. 14. The amount of $2,000,000, or so much thereof 23 as may be necessary, is appropriated from the General Revenue 24 Fund to the Office of the State Fire Marshal for Fire Service 25 Institute training costs associated with homeland security. 26 Section 14. "AN ACT making appropriations," Public Act 27 92-8, approved June 11, 2001, is amended by changing Section 28 35 of Article 1 as follows: HB3426 Enrolled -11- LRB9207403RHrh 1 (P.A. 92-8, Art. 1, Sec. 35) 2 Sec. 35.
