 1        AN ACT regarding vehicles.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The  Illinois  Vehicle  Code  is  amended  by
 5    changing Section 11-902 as follows:

 6        (625 ILCS 5/11-902) (from Ch. 95 1/2, par. 11-902)
 7        Sec. 11-902. Vehicle turning left.
 8        The  driver  of  a  vehicle intending to turn to the left
 9    within an intersection or into an  alley,  private  road,  or
10    driveway   shall   yield  the  right-of-way  to  any  vehicle
11    approaching from the opposite direction which is so close  as
12    to  constitute  an  immediate  hazard,  but  the said driver,
13    having so yielded may proceed at such time as a safe interval
14    occurs.
