1 AN ACT concerning nursing home care.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Nursing Home Care Act is amended by
5 changing Section 3-710 as follows:
6 (210 ILCS 45/3-710) (from Ch. 111 1/2, par. 4153-710)
7 Sec. 3-710. Contempt. In cases of refusal of a witness
8 to attend or testify or to produce books or papers,
9 concerning any matter upon which he might be lawfully
10 examined, the circuit court of the county wherein the hearing
11 is held, upon application of any party to the proceeding, may
12 compel obedience by a proceeding for contempt as in cases of
13 a like refusal to obey a similar order of the court.
