1 AN ACT in relation to taxation.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Retailers' Occupation Tax Act is amended
5 by changing Section 2i as follows:
6 (35 ILCS 120/2i) (from Ch. 120, par. 441i)
7 Sec. 2i. Exception to bonding requirement.
8 Notwithstanding any other provision to the contrary, any
9 person who is required to file a bond pursuant to any
10 provision of this Act and who has continuously complied with
11 all provisions of this Act for 24 or more consecutive months,
12 shall no longer be required to comply with the bonding
13 provisions of this Act so long as such person continues his
14 compliance with the provisions of this Act.
