92_HB4719eng HB4719 Engrossed LRB9212047DHmg 1 AN ACT regarding aircraft. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Illinois Aeronautics Act is amended by 5 changing Section 15 as follows: 6 (620 ILCS 5/15) (from Ch. 15 1/2, par. 22.15) 7 Sec. 15. "Aeronautics instructor" means any individual 8 engaged in giving instruction, or offering to give 9 instruction, in aeronautics, either in flying or ground 10 subjects, or both, for hire or reward, without advertising 11 such occupation, without calling his or her facilities an 12 "air school" or anything equivalent thereto, and without 13 employing or using other instructors. It does not include any 14 instructor in any public school or university of this State, 15 or any institution of higher learning duly accredited and 16 approved for carrying on collegiate work, while engaged in 17 his duties as such instructor. 18 (Source: P.A. 91-357, eff. 7-29-99.)
