1 AMENDMENT TO HOUSE BILL 4736
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend House Bill 4736 by replacing
3 everything after the enacting clause with the following:
4 "Section 5. The Illinois Public Aid Code is amended by
5 adding Section 5-5.04 as follows:
6 (305 ILCS 5/5-5.04 new)
7 Sec. 5-5.04. Full-service acute care children's hospital;
8 clinic services. The Department of Public Aid must make
9 reimbursement under this Article for services provided at a
10 hospital-based organized clinic if (i) the hospital is a
11 full-service acute care children's hospital devoted
12 exclusively to pediatrics and does not share a Medicare
13 provider number with an adult institution, (ii) the clinic is
14 located within one mile of the hospital, and (iii) the
15 services are otherwise eligible for reimbursement under this
16 Code.
17 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon
18 becoming law.".
