1 AN ACT in relation to public aid.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Nursing Home Grant Assistance Act is
5 amended by changing Section 10 as follows:
6 (305 ILCS 40/10) (from Ch. 23, par. 7100-10)
7 Sec. 10. Nursing Home Grant Assistance Program. There
8 is created a grant assistance program to provide financial
9 support for eligible individuals who reside in nursing homes
10 and who do not have their nursing home care paid for, in
11 whole or in part, by a federal, State, or combined
12 federal-State medical care program, except as provided in
13 Section 15 of this Act. The program shall apply only to
14 State fiscal year 1993.
