92_HB5905 LRB9214031LDtm 1 AN ACT in relation to the regulation of professions. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 Section 5. The Illinois Public Accounting Act is amended 5 by changing Section 1 as follows: 6 (225 ILCS 450/1) (from Ch. 111, par. 5501) 7 (Section scheduled to be repealed on January 1, 2014) 8 (Text of Section before amendment by P.A. 92-457) 9 Sec. 1. Any person, 18eighteenyears of age or older, 10 who has received from the University of Illinois, hereinafter 11 called the University, a certificate of his qualifications as 12 hereinafter provided, shall be styled and known as a 13 "Certified Public Accountant," and no other person shall 14 assume such title or use the abbreviation "C. P.A." or any 15 words or letters to indicate that the person using the same 16 is a certified public accountant. 17 (Source: P.A. 83-291.) 18 (Text of Section after amendment by P.A. 92-457) 19 Sec. 1. No acceleration or delay.
