1 AN ACT making appropriations.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 ARTICLE 1
5 Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much
6 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects
7 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated for the
8 ordinary and contingent expenses of the Office of the
9 Governor:
10 EXECUTIVE OFFICE
11 Payable from the General Revenue Fund:
12 For Personal Services ........................ $ 6,814,400
13 For Employee Retirement Contributions
14 Paid by Employer ............................ 272,600
15 For State Contributions to State
16 Employees' Retirement System................. 703,300
17 For State Contributions to
18 Social Security.............................. 500,500
19 For Contractual Services...................... 852,000
20 For Travel.................................... 200,000
21 For Commodities............................... 85,000
22 For Printing.................................. 50,000
23 For Equipment................................. 5,000
24 For Electronic Data Processing................ 150,000
25 For Telecommunications Services............... 350,000
26 For Repairs and Maintenance................... 32,000
27 For Expenses Related to Ethnic Celebrations,
28 Special Receptions, and Other Events ........ 110,000
29 Total $10,124,800
30 Section 2. The sum of $100,000, or so much thereof as

1 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Governor's Grant
2 Fund to the Office of the Governor to be expended in
3 accordance with the terms and conditions upon which such
4 funds were received and in the exercise of the powers or
5 performance of the duties of the Office of the Governor.
6 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on
7 July 1, 2002.
