92_HR0054 LRB9205886RHrhA 1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 3 Representatives are pleased to honor milestones in the lives 4 of the citizens of the State of Illinois; and 5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Frank J. Wsol 6 has loyally served the Teamsters Union for over fifty years; 7 and 8 WHEREAS, Frank J. Wsol served his country in the United 9 States Air Force in Japan and Korea in the mid-1940's; and 10 WHEREAS, Frank J. Wsol has served with the Teamsters 11 since 1946, when he became a member of Local No. 761; he 12 became a member of I.B.T. Local No. 710 while driving a meat 13 delivery truck in 1951; he was appointed organizer in 1966 by 14 John T. (Sandy) O'Brien; he was promoted to business agent in 15 1971 by William D. Joyce; and 16 WHEREAS, In 1981 Mr. Wsol was appointed Vice President; 17 in 1992 he was nominated President of Local No. 710; in 1993 18 he was appointed Secretary-Treasurer; Mr. Wsol has served as 19 trustee of the Local No. 710 Health, Welfare, and Pension 20 funds and became chairman of those funds in June of 1993; and 21 WHEREAS, Frank Wsol has served as chairman of the 22 Illinois Joint State Grievance Committee, the Meat, MCLAC, 23 and Yellow Freight Grievance Committee, and the I.B.T. 24 National Grievance Committee; he is a member of the All 25 Teamster Neer-Goudie American Legion Post No. 846; he also 26 serves on the Board of Directors for Children's Advocacy 27 Center and the Little City Foundation in Palatine, Illinois; 28 and 29 WHEREAS, Frank Wsol and his wife, Florence, spend their 30 free time with their sons and grandchildren; therefore, be it -2- LRB9205886RHrhA 1 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 2 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that 3 we congratulate Frank J. Wsol for his dedication and service 4 to the Teamsters Union for over fifty years; and be it 5 further 6 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 7 presented to Frank J. Wsol, along with our sincere regards.
