1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to recognize milestone events in
4 the lives of the citizens of the State of Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Dale Campbell
6 has been selected as the Catlin Lions Club 2001 Citizen of
7 the Year; and
8 WHEREAS, Dale Campbell has lived in Catlin, Illinois
9 since 1953, and has been very active in his community; and
10 WHEREAS, Dale Campbell owned Campbell's Disposal Service
11 for thirty-eight years before retiring in 1992; as owner, Mr.
12 Campbell offered free garbage pick-up for all local
13 organizations staging events in Catlin; and
14 WHEREAS, Dale Campbell is a member of the Catlin
15 Historical Society, a member of the South Side Church of the
16 Nazarene in Tilton, a supporter of Catlin Little League
17 Sports, a member of the zoning commission, and assists in the
18 spring and fall clean up of the village;; and
19 WHEREAS, Dale Campbell was selected as the Catlin Lions
20 Club 2001 Citizen of the Year by his fellow neighbors for his
21 longtime dedication and support to the village of Catlin;
22 therefore be it
23 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
24 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
25 we congratulate Dale Campbell on being selected as the Catlin
26 Lions Club 2001 Citizen of the Year; and be it further
27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
28 presented to Dale Campbell as an expression of our esteem.
