1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are pleased to recognize milestone events in
4 the lives of the citizens of the State of Illinois; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Tammy Stack is
6 retiring from Christ the King School in Springfield after 20
7 years of dedicated service; and
8 WHEREAS, Tammy Stack, a native of Moline, graduated from
9 Western Illinois University; she also served in the United
10 States Peace Corps, where she taught English at Basilan High
11 School in the Philippines for two years; and
12 WHEREAS, Tammy Stack began her teaching career at Christ
13 the King School as a kindergarten and first grade teacher;
14 she later taught the second grade; in addition she also
15 served as a teacher in Peoria and Springfield's District 186
16 before settling into her career at Christ the King School;
17 and
18 WHEREAS, Tammy Stack is supported by her loving and very
19 proud family, which includes her husband, Tom, and her
20 children, Kevin (wife, Karen), Craig, and Karen; and
21 WHEREAS, Tammy Stack plans to spend her retirement on an
22 Alaskan cruise, fishing, and enjoying retirement life with
23 her husband; therefore, be it
24 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
25 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
26 we congratulate Tammy Stack on her retirement after a career
27 service of 20 years to Christ the King School in Springfield
28 and we wish her well in all of her future endeavors; and be
29 it further
30 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be

1 presented to Tammy Stack as an expression of our esteem.
