1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives wish to express their sincere condolences to
4 the family and friends of Elizabeth L. Greene, who passed
5 away on May 21, 2001; and
6 WHEREAS, Elizabeth L. Greene was born on February 27,
7 1914 in Covington, Georgia to Tobie T. Greene, Sr. and Willie
8 G. Greene; she attended Coleman Zeno School and Wendell
9 Phillips School; and
10 WHEREAS, Elizabeth L. Greene was a member at Mount Moriah
11 Baptist Church; and
12 WHEREAS, The passing of Elizabeth L. Greene will be
13 deeply felt by all who knew and loved her, especially her
14 son, George (Marva); her grandson, Dwayne; her sisters,
15 Lillian Galloway and Senora (Eugene Worthington); her
16 brother, Tobie T. Greene, Jr. (Clotee); and a host of nieces,
17 nephews, relatives, and friends; therefore, be it
18 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
19 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
20 we mourn, along with all who knew her, the death of Elizabeth
21 L. Greene; and be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable resolution be presented to the
23 family of Elizabeth L. Greene with our sincere condolences.
