1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, Frank Wsol has been a member of the Little City
3 Foundation Board of Directors since 1989; and
4 WHEREAS, The Little City Foundation provides services for
5 children and adults with developmental challenges including
6 housing, employment, recreation, foster care, adoption, and
7 other offerings; and
8 WHEREAS, Frank Wsol is a strong believer in organized
9 labor; he has been a member of the Teamsters Local 761 since
10 1946 after returning from a tour of duty in Japan and Korea
11 with the United States Air Force; and
12 WHEREAS, Mr. Wsol has served as Secretary-Treasurer of
13 Teamsters Local 710 since 1993, and as Vice-President for the
14 twelve years prior; and
15 WHEREAS, Mr. Wsol also served as a Trustee and Chairman
16 of the Health, Welfare, and Pension Funds of Teamsters Local
17 710; and
18 WHEREAS, Mr. Wsol is a member of the All Teamster
19 Neer-Goudie American Legion Post #846 and serves on the Board
20 of Directors for the Children's Advocacy Center; and
21 WHEREAS, The Little City Foundation recognized the
22 accomplishments and contributions of Frank Wsol and has
23 honored him by naming him as "Board Member of the Year";
24 therefore, be it
25 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
26 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
27 we congratulate Frank Wsol on being named Little City
28 Foundation Board Member of the Year; and be it further
29 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
30 presented to Frank Wsol as an expression of esteem.
