1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives are proud to recognize milestone events in
4 the lives of the citizens of this State; and
5 WHEREAS, It has come to our attention that Michael Seth
6 Levin and Brandy Michelle Jewett will be united in marriage
7 on May 26, 2002, at Temple Israel in Springfield; and
8 WHEREAS, Michael Levin and Brandy Jewett met in
9 September, 1999, while working on the House Democratic Staff;
10 Mr. Levin worked on the Issues Development Staff and Ms.
11 Jewett on the Research/Appropriations Staff; and
12 WHEREAS, While on the Issues Development Staff, Mr. Levin
13 staffed Representative Ricca Slone, Representative Mike
14 Boland, and Representative Mike Smith; Ms. Jewett staffed the
15 Judiciary II - Criminal Law Committee and the Prison
16 Management Reform Committee; she also had the pleasure of
17 working on the new legislative map; and
18 WHEREAS, Mr. Levin is currently a Governmental Affairs
19 Director for the Illinois Association of Realtors and Ms.
20 Jewett is a Public Affairs Specialist for the Illinois
21 Planned Parenthood Council; therefore, be it
22 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
23 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
24 we congratulate Michael Seth Levin and Brandy Michelle Jewett
25 on their marriage and wish them all the best in the future;
26 and be it further
27 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
28 presented to Michael Seth Levin and Brandy Michelle Jewett as
29 an expression of our esteem.
