92_HR1028 LRB9217149RHrh 1 HOUSE RESOLUTION 2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of 3 Representatives wish to express their sincerest condolences 4 to the family and friends of George W. Fejt, who passed away 5 on June 13, 2002; and 6 WHEREAS, Mr. Fejt served as the Berwyn Township assessor; 7 and 8 WHEREAS, Mr. Fejt was a real estate appraiser and owned a 9 deli in Berwyn; he later worked as an inspector for the 10 Berwyn Health District and then as the chief building 11 inspector for the City of Berwyn; and 12 WHEREAS, Mr. Fejt attended Komensky School in Berwyn, and 13 Morton High School, and Morton College, both in Cicero; and 14 WHEREAS, Mr. Fejt was a member of the Regular Democratic 15 Organization of Berwyn, the Berwyn Moose Lodge, the Berwyn 16 Eagles, the Slovak Athletic Association, the Township 17 Officials of Cook County and of Illinois, the Certified 18 Illinois Assessing Officers, the International Association of 19 Assessing Officers, the Illinois Environmental Health 20 Association, the Illinois Association of Realtors, and the 21 West Towns Board of Realtors; and 22 WHEREAS, Mr. Fejt enjoyed woodworking, gardening, 23 photography, old-time trains, and collecting beer cans; and 24 WHEREAS, The passing of George W. Fejt will be deeply 25 felt by all who knew and loved him, especially his wife of 45 26 years, Bernice; his sons, George F. and Robert W.; his 27 daughter, Joanne M. Trumbull; and his four grandchildren; 28 therefore, be it 29 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE 30 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that -2- LRB9217149RHrh 1 we mourn, along with all who knew him, the death of George W. 2 Fejt of Berwyn, Illinois; and be it further 3 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be 4 presented to the family of George W. Fejt with our sincere 5 condolences.
