1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The members of the Illinois House of
3 Representatives note with sadness the death of Brenda Pittman
4 of Chicago, who passed away at the age of 64; and
5 WHEREAS, Mrs. Pittman was a longtime resident of Beverly
6 and lived in Chicago for over 60 years; she was a Registered
7 Nurse, a Professor of Nursing at Dawson Skills Center, and a
8 private school teacher; she was a counselor, intercessor, and
9 motivator; and
10 WHEREAS, Mrs. Pittman was a supporter of good government
11 and Representative Monique Davis; and
12 WHEREAS, Her passing will be deeply felt by her family
13 and friends, especially her husband, Lee Pittman; her son,
14 Joseph Pittman; her sisters, Cora Genkins, and Melodie
15 Huddleston; and her brother, William Taylor; therefore, be it
16 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
17 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
18 we mourn, along with all who knew and loved her, the passing
19 of Brenda Pittman and extend our sincere condolences to her
20 family and friends; and be it further
21 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
22 presented to the family of Brenda Pittman as an expression of
23 our sympathy.
