1 HOUSE RESOLUTION
2 WHEREAS, The Illinois House of Representatives was
3 saddened to learn of the death of Shane Dee Sherman, who
4 passed away on September 29, 2002; and
5 WHEREAS, Shane Dee Sherman was born on October 24, 1961,
6 the son of Niles and Mildred Sherman; and
7 WHEREAS, Mr. Sherman attended Whitney Young High School
8 in Chicago; he graduated from William S. Hart High School in
9 California; and
10 WHEREAS, Mr. Sherman held a variety of jobs through his
11 years including employment with the Chicago Park District and
12 the City of Chicago; he worked as an assistant to former
13 Alderman Marion Humes, as an operating engineer for the
14 Department of Water, and as an employee of the Department of
15 Sewers; he was an entrepreneur who owned and operated a fleet
16 of limousines; therefore, be it
17 RESOLVED, BY THE HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES OF THE
18 NINETY-SECOND GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS, that
19 we note with sorrow the passing of Shane Dee Sherman and
20 extend our sincere condolences to his family and friends; and
21 be it further
22 RESOLVED, That a suitable copy of this resolution be
23 presented to the family of Shane Dee Sherman.
