1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 368
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 368 on page 1,
3 line 5, by changing "0.01, 1, and 2" to "0.01 and 1 and
4 adding Section 3"; and
5 on page 2 by replacing lines 12 through 33 with the
6 following:
7 "(815 ILCS 145/3 new)
8 Sec. 3. Unauthorized use of debit card; amount of
9 liability. A person's liability for the unauthorized use of a
10 debit card resulting in an electronic fund transfer from that
11 person's account or a series of related electronic fund
12 transfers shall not exceed the amounts and shall be subject
13 to the provisions set forth in Regulation E adopted by the
14 Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System (12 CFR
15 205.6)."; and
16 by deleting all of page 3.
