Until the Agency and 4 the Environmental Laboratory Certification Committee 5 establish administrative and certification assessment 6 schedules in accordance with the procedures of subsections 7 (c) and (d-5) of this Section, the following assessment 8 schedules shall remain in effectbased on the following9schedule:"; and 10 on page 5, line 15, after "(b)", by inserting "Until the 11 Agency and the Environmental Laboratory Certification 12 Committee establish administrative and certification 13 assessment schedules in accordance with the procedures of 14 subsections (c) and (d-5) of this Section, the following 15 payment schedules shall remain in effect."; and 16 on page 5, line 25, after "schedules,", by inserting 17 "assessment schedule dispute resolution,"; and 18 on page 5, line 28, after "agency,", by inserting "or"; and 19 on page 5, by replacing lines 29 and 30 with "government. No 20 assessments shall be due from, orany municipal government 21 for certification to conduct public water supplythat22conductsanalysesof samples from public water supplies. The -2- LRB9204377ACcdam 1 Agency's"; and 2 on page 6, immediately below line 7, by inserting the 3 following: 4 "(d-5) The Agency, with the concurrence with the 5 Environmental Laboratory Certification Committee, shall 6 determine the assessment schedules for participation in the 7 environmental laboratory certification program. The Agency, 8 with the concurrence of the Committee, shall base the 9 assessment schedules upon actual and anticipated costs for 10 certification under State and federal programs and the 11 associated costs of the Agency and Committee. On or before 12 August 1 of each year, the Agency shall submit its assessment 13 schedules determination and supporting documentation for the 14 forthcoming year to the Committee. Before the following 15 September 30, the Committee shall hold at least one regular 16 meeting to consider the Agency's assessment schedule 17 determination. If the Committee concurs with the Agency's 18 assessment schedule determination, it shall thereupon take 19 effect.".
