1 AN ACT in relation to property.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Code of Civil Procedure is amended by
5 adding Section 7-103.139 as follows:
6 (735 ILCS 5/7-103.139 new)
7 Sec. 7-103.139. Quick-take; City of Evanston. Quick-take
8 proceedings under Section 7-103 may be used for a period of 2
9 years after the effective date of this amendatory Act of the
10 92nd General Assembly by the City of Evanston for the
11 acquisition for redevelopment purposes of the real property
12 legally described as:
13 Lot 8 in Benson's Subdivision of Block 65 in Evanston in
14 Section 18, Township 41 North, Range 14 East of the Third
15 Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois and commonly
16 known as 814 Church Street, Evanston, Illinois; and
17 LOTS 1 TO 3 IN THE RESUBDIVISION OF LOTS 1 TO 5 IN
18 BENSON'S SUBDIVISION OF BLOCK 65 IN EVANSTON IN SECTION
19 18, TOWNSHIP 41 NORTH, RANGE 14 EAST OF THE THIRD
20 PRINCIPAL MERIDIAN, IN COOK COUNTY, ILLINOIS and commonly
21 known as 1624-1630 Sherman Avenue, Evanston, Illinois.
