 1        AN ACT concerning the Department of Agriculture.

 2        Be  it  enacted  by  the People of the State of Illinois,
 3    represented in the General Assembly:

 4        Section 5.  The Department  of  Agriculture  Law  of  the
 5    Civil  Administrative  Code  of Illinois is amended by adding
 6    Section 205-445 as follows:

 7        (20 ILCS 205/205-445 new)
 8        Sec. 205-445. Indirect cost reimbursements. Indirect cost
 9    reimbursements applied for by the Department  of  Agriculture
10    may  be allocated as State matching funds.  Any indirect cost
11    reimbursement applied for  and  received  by  the  Department
12    shall  be  deposited  into  the  same fund as the direct cost
13    reimbursement and may be expended, subject to  appropriation,
14    for  support  of  programs  administered by the Department of
15    Agriculture.

16        Section 99.  Effective date.  This Act takes effect  upon
17    becoming law.
