1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 856
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 856 on page 16,
3 line 12, by replacing "up to" with "not less than 10 and not
4 more than"; and
5 on page 16, line 14, after "possessing", by inserting "not
6 less than 10 and not more than 100 packages of"; and
7 on page 16, by replacing lines 19 and 20 with "for each such
8 package of cigarettes, unless reasonable cause can be
9 established by the person upon whom the penalty is imposed.
10 Reasonable cause shall be determined in each situation in
11 accordance with rules adopted by the Department."; and
12 on page 32, line 4, by replacing "up to" with "not less than
13 10 and not more than"; and
14 on page 32, line 6, after "possessing", by inserting "not
15 less than 10 and not more than 100 packages of"; and
16 on page 32, by replacing lines 11 and 12 with "for each such
17 package of cigarettes, unless reasonable cause can be
18 established by the person upon whom the penalty is imposed.
19 Reasonable cause shall be determined in each situation in
20 accordance with rules adopted by the Department."; and
21 on page 32, line 14, after "possession", by inserting "of".
