92_SB0991enr SB991 Enrolled LRB9208003TAcs 1 AN ACT concerning the Cook County Forest Preserve 2 District. 3 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 4 represented in the General Assembly: 5 Section 5. Upon the payment of any sum required by the 6 Cook County Forest Preserve District, and subject to the 7 conditions set forth in Section 10 of this Act, the Cook 8 County Forest Preserve is authorized to convey by quitclaim 9 deed all of its right, title, and interest in and to the 10 following described lands in Cook County, Illinois: 11 PARCEL A 12 Lot 46, 47, and 48 in block 6 in Indian Highlands, a 13 subdivision of all that part of the west 225 acres of the 14 north 32/80ths of the north Section of Robinson's Reserve 15 in Township 40 North, Range 12 East of the Third 16 Principal Meridian, lying east of a line as follows: 17 Beginning at a point on the North line of the North 18 Section 40.05 chains east of the Northwest corner of the 19 North Section running thence South 22 1/4 degrees East 20 4.40 chains; thence South 63 1/2 degrees West 11.73 21 chains; thence North 55 1/2 degrees West 4.80 chains; 22 thence South 35 1/2 degrees West 3.57 chains; thence 23 North 79 degrees West 5.30 chains; thence South 2 degrees 24 East 24.15 chains to the South line of said North 25 32/80ths of North Section, Cook County, Illinois. 26 Permanent Index Number: 12-10-303-046 27 PARCEL B 28 That portion lying northwest of the northwesterly right 29 of way line of the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway 30 of the property described as follows: 31 The West half (W. 1/2)(except therefrom the right of way 32 of the Chicago Rock Island and Pacific Railroad) of Lot 2 SB991 Enrolled -2- LRB9208003TAcs 1 in Assessor's Division of the Northeast quarter (N.E. 2 1/4) of Section Twenty nine (29), Township Thirty-six 3 (36) North, Range Thirteen (13) East of the Third 4 Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois. 5 Permanent Index Number: 28-29-211-010 6 PARCEL C 7 That part of Lot Four (4) of partition between the 8 children of Hans Johann Schrum (also known as John 9 Schrum, deceased) of lands left by him in Fractional 10 Section 20 and 29, Township 36 North, Range 15 East of 11 the Third Principal Meridian, lying west of Wentworth 12 Avenue and South of a line 50 feet South of and parallel 13 to the following described line: Commencing at a cross 14 notch in the center line of the pavement of Wentworth 15 Avenue, which is 204.5 feet South of the North line of 16 the South 1/2 of the Northeast Fractional Quarter of Said 17 Section 20; running thence westerly on a curve having a 18 radius of 1766.84 feet and being convex to the south and 19 being tangent to a line forming an angle of 90 degrees 20 and 9 minutes to the northeast with the center line of 21 said Wentworth Avenue, in Cook County, Illinois. 22 Also, that portion lying south of the south right of way 23 line of River Oaks Drive of the property described as 24 follows: 25 That part of Section 20, Township 36 North, Range 15 East 26 of the Third Principal Meridian Described as follows: 27 Commencing at a point 12.303 chains East of the Northwest 28 corner of the East 1/2 of the Northwest 1/4 of Section 20 29 aforesaid; thence running east 8.994 chains; thence south 30 20 chains; thence west 2.50 chains; running thence south 31 363.4 feet, more or less, to the center line of Prairie 32 or Ridge Road (Schrum Road); running thence Northwesterly 33 in the center of said Road to a point due south of the 34 place of beginning, running thence north 1458.7 feet, SB991 Enrolled -3- LRB9208003TAcs 1 more or less, to the point of beginning, in Cook County, 2 Illinois. 3 Permanent Index Number: Part of 30-20-103-003 and Part of 4 30-20-202-016 5 PARCEL E 6 That portion of the East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of 7 Section 35, Township 40 North, Range 12 East of the Third 8 Principal Meridian lying northeasterly of the 9 northeasterly right of way line of Thatcher Avenue in 10 Cook County, Illinois. 11 Permanent Index Number: Part of 12-3 5-400-003 12 PARCEL F 13 That portion of the East 1/2 of the West 1/2 of 14 Fractional Section 1 of Township 41 North, Range 9 East 15 of the Third Principal Meridian lying north of the 240 16 foot wide right of way of Higgins Road (Route 72), except 17 that part thereof conveyed to the Illinois State Toll 18 Highway Commission by deed recorded April 25, 1957 as 19 document number 16887105, and also except that part 20 conveyed to The Northern Illinois Gas Company by deed 21 recorded December 3, 1958 as document number 17393730 in 22 Cook County, Illinois. 23 Permanent Index Number: 06-01-101-003 24 Section 10. The Cook County Forest Preserve District 25 shall obtain a certified copy of the portions of this Act 26 containing the title, the enacting clause, the effective 27 date, Section 5, and this Section within 60 days after its 28 effective date and upon receipt of the required payment, if 29 payment is required, shall record the certified document in 30 the Recorder's Office in Cook County. 31 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect upon 32 becoming law.
