92_SB1382 BOB-LCC02 1 AN ACT making appropriations. 2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois, 3 represented in the General Assembly: 4 ARTICLE 1 5 Section 1. The following named amounts, or so much 6 thereof as may be necessary, respectively, for the objects 7 and purposes hereinafter named, are appropriated from the 8 Dram Shop Fund to the Liquor Control Commission: 9 For Personal Services ........................ $ 2,285,300 10 For Employee Retirement Contributions 11 Paid by Employer ............................ 91,900 12 For State Contributions to State 13 Employees' Retirement System ................ 238,300 14 For State Contributions to 15 Social Security ............................. 173,000 16 For Group Insurance .......................... 445,200 17 For Contractual Services ..................... 311,400 18 For Travel ................................... 115,300 19 For Commodities .............................. 18,700 20 For Printing ................................. 6,000 21 For Equipment ................................ 6,000 22 For Electronic Data Processing ............... 81,200 23 For Telecommunications Services .............. 70,400 24 For Operation of Automotive Equipment......... 38,000 25 For Refunds .................................. 2,000 26 Total $3,882,700 27 Section 2. The amount of $300,000, or so much thereof as 28 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Dram Shop Fund to 29 the Liquor Control Commission to conduct a study to determine 30 the extent of enforcement of laws relating to access by -2- BOB-LCC02 1 minors to tobacco products. 2 Section 3. The sum of $150,000, or so much thereof as 3 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Tobacco Settlement 4 Recovery Fund to the Liquor Control Commission for the 5 purpose of operating the local government tobacco enforcement 6 grant program. 7 Section 4. The sum of $1,000,000, or so much thereof as 8 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Tobacco Settlement 9 Recovery Fund to the Liquor Control Commission for grants to 10 local governmental units to establish enforcement programs 11 that will reduce youth access to tobacco products. 12 Section 5. The following amounts, or so much thereof as 13 may be necessary, respectively, are appropriated for the 14 Retailer Education Program from the Dram Shop Fund to the 15 Liquor Control Commission, for the objects and purposes 16 hereinafter named: 17 For Personal Services ........................ $ 107,000 18 For Employee Retirement Contributions 19 Paid by Employer ............................ 4,000 20 For State Contributions to State 21 Employees' Retirement System ................ 10,600 22 For State Contributions to 23 Social Security ............................. 7,900 24 For Group Insurance .......................... 16,800 25 For Contractual Services ..................... 65,300 26 For Travel ................................... 4,300 27 For Commodities .............................. 2,400 28 For Printing ................................. 21,000 29 For Equipment ................................ 1,000 30 For Electronic Data Processing ............... 6,000 31 For Telecommunications Services .............. 4,100 -3- BOB-LCC02 1 Total $250,400 2 Section 6. The sum of $133,000, or so much thereof as 3 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Dram Shop Fund to 4 the Liquor Control Commission for the purpose of enforcing 5 the Illinois Wine and Spirits Industry Fair Dealing Act of 6 1999. 7 Section 7. The sum of $630,000, or so much thereof as 8 may be necessary, is appropriated from the Dram Shop Fund to 9 the Liquor Control Commission for the purpose of operating 10 the Beverage Alcohol Sellers and Servers Education and 11 Training (BASSET) Program. 12 Section 8. In addition to any other amount appropriated, 13 the sum of $350,000, or so much thereof as may be necessary, 14 is appropriated from the General Revenue Fund to the Illinois 15 Liquor Control Commission for the continuation of a statewide 16 tobacco inspection program. 17 Section 99. Effective date. This Act takes effect on 18 July 1, 2001.
