1 AMENDMENT TO SENATE BILL 1497
2 AMENDMENT NO. . Amend Senate Bill 1497, AS AMENDED,
3 with reference to page and line numbers of Senate Amendment
4 No. 2, on page 1 by replacing lines 19 through 22 with the
5 following:
6 ""Health care provider" has the meaning ascribed to that
7 term in Section 10 of this Act.
8 "Health care treatment decision" means a determination
9 made by the health care plan that affects the quality of the
10 care or treatment provided to the plan's insureds or
11 enrollees. The definition of "health care treatment"; and
12 on page 2 by deleting lines 1, 2, and 3; and
13 on page 2, line 10, by changing "in" to "in all its branches
14 in"; and
15 on page 2 by replacing line 24 with the following:
16 "circumstances. Nothing in this Section affects the
17 confidentiality of peer review or utilization review records
18 as provided by law."; and
19 on page 3, line 5, by deleting "physician, hospital, or
20 other".
