1 AN ACT concerning nursing homes.
2 Be it enacted by the People of the State of Illinois,
3 represented in the General Assembly:
4 Section 5. The Nursing Home Care Act is amended by adding
5 Section 2-214 as follows:
6 (210 ILCS 45/2-214 new)
7 Sec. 2-214. Drinking fountains. Facilities licensed under
8 this Act must have 2 drinking fountains, one of which must be
9 wheelchair accessible, located in each nursing unit. The
10 drinking fountains required by this Section must be connected
11 to cold running water.
